I had been worrying somewhat that it might be disappointing, as the heavy cloud cover and gloomy skies had the potential to really squash a lot of the views. But the sun delivered exactly when it needed to, and after a couple days of almost nothing but gloom, it had even more impact! <br /><br />One of the coolest things about this trip was seeing a lot of places that I recognize from photos, like the yard in Jasper, some notable bridges, and some of the curves through the National Park. It's neat to see some of those from the other side (i.e. on board the train), but it's also kind of strange to see what's around and behind the camera in some of those iconic spots.
